This course is designed under addon course implemented by Shivaji University, Kolhapur to allow students to go beyond their curriculum and facilitate them to extend their interest level in telescope making.

After completing this course ….

1) students will able to understand fundamental concepts regarding telescope

2) students will come to know theoretical background of telescopes

3) students will be familiar of process involved in telescope making

4) students will be able to design and construct their telescope own

5) students will be able to understand different constellations and deep sky objects in the night sky.
